CONCUSSION IN SCHOOLS

It is important that those who work with children in sports and education possess an awareness of what to look out for in assessing concussion symptoms and risks. This online Concussion training course will teach your staff about concussions and how to manage them safely and effectively.

Description

This online Concussion training course for schools will teach learners how to recognise the signs and symptoms of a concussion, learn the immediate and ongoing management of concussions, identify the ‘red flags’ that indicate they should seek medical assistance, and how to reduce the risks following a concussion. A concussion is a temporary injury to the brain following a blow or bump to the head. Babies, small children and teenagers are more likely than adults to be affected by a concussion as their brains are still growing and the effects might not show up until adulthood.

Certificate Gained

Upon the successful completion of the course, you will be able to download your CPD accredited certificate. You can also request from us (via email: info@childwell.co.uk) a high-quality hard copy version of your certificate along with course transcript at a cost of £13.
