DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION IN THE WORKPLACE

Description

This course explores the concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and their practical applications within educational and professional environments. Participants will learn the legal frameworks underpinning DEI, including the Equality Act 2010 and ACAS guidance, and engage in self-reflection and group exercises to identify personal biases, barriers to inclusion, and strategies for promoting fairness and belonging in the workplace.This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage and resolve conflicts in various settings. It will cover the psychological aspects of conflict, strategies for de-escalation, effective communication techniques, and practical frameworks for resolving disputes constructively. Participants will learn how to navigate difficult conversations with confidence, maintain emotional control, and apply a structured approach to achieving positive outcomes.
