THE STUDENT MINDSET

This e-learning course is designed to help student support professionals better understand the mindset of university students, enabling more effective support, communication, and guidance.

Description

The Student Mindset e-learning course is designed for university staff, placement managers, and student support professionals working with international and study-abroad cohorts. This course explores the complexities of late adolescence (typically ages 17–25) and how this critical stage of development influences behaviour, emotional regulation, decision-making, and academic engagement within the university environment.

Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the psychological and developmental factors shaping student experiences, allowing them to interpret challenges more effectively and respond with confidence, empathy, and clarity. By bridging theory with practical application, this course equips staff with the tools to support student well-being, foster resilience, and guide students toward successful academic and personal outcomes.
